CAPSULE HOLIDAY WARDROBE

Okay humour me with this one - 2 week quarantine and I needed a project!

I know it’s nearly the end of summer so lastminute.com but here’s a quick how to style a capsule holiday wardrobe - for a September getaway or summers to come.

When packing for trips away, you never need to take as much as you think. I can pack enough clothes for 2 weeks in a carry-on suitcase, and still find that there’s something I’ve not worn at the end of the holiday. Pick out failsafe classics and streamline with your favourite accessories. Choose separates (jeans, wide-leg trousers, shorts, skirts, tees and tops) that are in similar colour palettes, or really neutral if in doubt, so that you can mix and match the pieces together, whether for day or for evening. Look to materials in soft cottons, silks or viscose, and wearable floaty-fits that are stress-free and you know you’ll look forward to wearing. Then, stick to a few stand out dresses and jumpsuits for the day-time, and again for the evening. No headache involved. After all, the holiday-mood starts with the packing, so it should be enjoyable! Hopefully this video will give you some inspiration and drop me a message if you have any thoughts or questions!
