SS20 catwalks were splashed with spots and dots of all shapes and sizes. The high-street has followed suit, with polka dots spotted across all of our go-to wardrobe staples. Look to Dries Van Noten who showcased both delicate dots, strewn across layers of sheer ruffles, and giant polka dots on their statement summer coats. For elegant simplicity, inspiration comes from Altuzarra and Gabriela Hearst and their effortless shirt dresses, with similar styles at Finery and H&M. Or style like Marc Jacobs with a bolder mini dress (or & Other Stories for your high-street fix). Feeling brave? Go for head-to-toe polka dots. Clashing spots - even better. For me, a particular favourite is the Mother of Pearl X John Lewis dress; a collaboration that celebrates conscious manufacturing and beautiful, versatile pieces.
